Description of Collection System
The Collection System consists of approximately 33 miles of gravity sewer, 3.43 miles of force main, and 5 duplex pump stations. Wastewater is collected from customers consisting of approximately 5 Industrial, 74 Commercial, and 1741 Residential. The sewer and wastewater is conveyed to the Town of Spindale Waste Treatment Plant Facility for treatment prior to being disposed of into Holland's Creek.
Performance
The Town of Spindale has had (0) violations of environmental regulations or environmental laws. We feel that these performance records are due to numerous man-hours of preventative maintenance and upkeep of our collections system.
Notification
Notification of the Town of Spindale Collections System Annual Report will be conveyed to our customers through a quarterly newsletter, posted on our website, www.townofspindalenc.com and posted at the Town of Spindale Library and City Hall.
Certification
