Spindale offers some the most beautiful scenery around. Our
landscapes are enhanced by striking birds and foliage throughout
the year, along with breath-taking mountain views. With four
distinctive seasons, Spindale offers comfortable weather for outdoor activities all year long.
Nature is foremost in Spindale's recreational offerings. Walking
and hiking trails range from the nearby, beautiful Chimney Rock
Park nature trails to the Rails to Trails project. When completed,
Rutherford County will have 26 miles of Rails to Trails, the longest
in North Carolina.
Whatever the season, our natural surroundingsflourish with vibrant colors and scenes.

Snuggle up and settle in with the one's you love during the moderate winters we have. Enjoy a tall mug of warm hot chocolate in front of
a roaring fire while watching the light dustings of the elegant
snowflakes as they dance past your window.

Springtime brings out the fragrant blossoms of watermelon pink azaleas, flowering dogwoods, and sunny daffodils; providing a sharp contrast against the plush green lawns of our neighborhoods. Relax
on the porch swing with a tall glass of iced tea after a hard day's work
while the children's laughter fills the night air.

Spindale's landscape in the summer is a virtual cornucopia of color. Rembrandt never painted a more colorful garden as the ones located here. With moderate temperatures, patriotic parades, and succulent watermelon, Spindale makes for the perfect place to enjoy a summer vacation.

The fiery fall colors of the trees lining our streets signal the
beginning of our fall season. The vibrant fall foliage, combined with
the mild weather, provides a backdrop any community would be
proud to call home.
