   Located in the heart of Spindale, Isothermal Community College has been helping to educate

   the individuals of this area for more than 35 years. The college offers College Transfer, Arts and

   Sciences, Applied Sciences, Business Sciences and Continuing Education programs, as well as

   varied cultural and enrichment opportunities. The Commission on Colleges of the Southern

   Association of Colleges and Schools, also known as SACS, accredits the school. The College

   also has an eleven-acre satellite campus in our neighboring Polk County.


   Last year, Isothermal Community College had nearly 3,000 students enrolled in curriculum

   credit courses. Hundreds of others participated in adult education programs,  specialized training,

   and seminars. The school has earned particular note for its work aiding new and established

   businesses and industries in the training and development of their workforce. Special assistance

   for small businesses and startups is also available. Administrators, faculty and staff want the

   community and anyone interested in Isothermal's services to know, Isothermal Community

   College exists "To improve life through learning."

 

   WNCW 88.7  FM, the Isothermal campus radio station, airs the finest in local and alternative

   programming for the Foothills and surrounding areas. They are also heard throughout 5 states.
